    1. Yes. It is the perfect upgrade to the older Nickle Cadmium battery and provides much more power. The Milwaukee Model No. is 48-11-2830.

    3. The Milwaukee M28 Lithium-Ion Battery will work with some older tools. Northern Tool suggests contacting the manufacturer(Milwaukee Electric Tool Corp) directly with the model number of your tool to make sure they are compatible.
