The MILWAUKEE M18 FUEL 21in. Self-Propelled Dual Battery Mower Kit meets the performance, durability, and ergonomic needs of landscape maintenance professionals. The optimized steel deck design and higher blade speed allow the mower to achieve superior airflow and increased lift for the best cut quality in mulching, bagging, and side discharge applications. The POWERSTATE Brushless Motor delivers more max torque than 200cc gas to take on the most demanding mowing applications. The REDLINK PLUS Intelligence has total system communication between the tool and battery for unmatched levels of performance, protection, and productivity. The advanced electronic package also delivers an instant throttle response on both the lawn mower blade and drive motors to reach full throttle in under 1 second, which increases user control and productivity. The mower requires 2 M18 REDLITHIUM Batteries for operation. When paired with the included 2 M18 REDLITHIUM HIGH OUTPUT HD12.0 batteries, the mower delivers up to 60 minutes of runtime for up to 1/2 acre of cutting when removing 1in. of grass at a 3 MPH self-propelled pace. The Variable Speed Self-Propelled Mower offers speeds between 0 - 4 MPH, and the Active Speed Management Paddles allow users to easily adjust their walking pace while in operation to increase control. The M18 FUEL Mower features a steel deck, 3in.-1 grass management, single point height adjustment, high lift mode, front side LED lights, vertical storage, and two deck handles.

  3. What is the switch for that is located above the light switch?

    1. Standing at the back on the mower at the handle, the button on the right side is the start blade button. The top button on the left side that runs horizontally is the self propel speed dial. The lower button will be the high lift mode ON/OFF button and LED light ON/OFF button.

  4. How do you set up the mulch on the mower?

    1. You will want to insert the mulch plug. Move the mower to high lift mode. This increases the blade speed for increased air flow and lift. This will result in a better mulching job.

  5. does this mower have a blade disengagement?

    1. The blades will stop when you release the handle. It is not equipped with blade disengagement.

  6. I have Milwaukee m18 cordless tools, can I use my smaller batteries in this mower, like my 5.0 batteries or will that mess up the motor?

    1. This mower is intended for use with the M18 12.0 high capacity batteries for 60 minutes of run time. This mower would work with lower capacity M18 batteries; however, the run time will be much shorter.

  7. Is it ok to store it with the batteries in it. When I put the batteries in after I charge them , the led lites come to show the strength , do they go off ?

    1. It is not recommended to leave the batteries in the mower when it is being stored. The lights on the batteries will go off once you put the batteries in the mower.

  9. Do you have a push mower version? I do not want a self-propelled mower!

    1. We currently do not have a battery operated push mower. Please view our reel push mowers like item #58342 and #2500313 for manual push mowers.

  10. What is the run time with the dual batteries? Will it operate with only one battery?

    1. This mower does require two batteries. When used with the included M18 HD12.0 batteries it can get up to 60 minutes of use removing up to 1" of grass at a 3 MPH self propelled pace.
