  1. does this work with my 1.5 m18red lithium

    1. This will work with any M18 battery. Keep in mind, depending on the task, the 1.5 aH battery may or may not be enough to last. Simple home repairs would be ok but more time consuming tasks will drain it quick. I recommend adding a 5 aH battery if you plan to use for work.

  2. have they changed the hex design on this model yet to prevent bits from failing to lock or fall out after some usage.

    1. This cordless impact driver uses Milwaukee M18 batteries. We offer a single battery, item 51491, a two pack of batteries, item 62594 or the starter kit, item 62597, which includes a battery and charger.

    1. The newest impact drivers from Milwaukee are designed with 2 ball bearings. You can contact Milwaukee directly in the event that the item does not come with two ball bearings and it fails.

    1. Both tools have a 5 year warranty from Milwaukee. Model 2853-20 has a higher torque and rpm rating.
