  1. How long can i expact the battery to last?

    1. Depends on the size of the battery, we use an older 3.0 M18 and after about 30 minutes of on and off use it's still at about half charge. Just don't leave it running when you move from one place to another and you'll get more run time out of your batteries.

    2. Sorry for the long answer I hope it helps. With one full charge and using throughout the course of a 12 hour day the Milwaukee Battery M18 Redlithium XC4.0 is still going strong. We have used it a couple times since them and no charge is needed yet. While only used for short periods at a time approximately 5 to 10 minutes the batter is still on its first charge.

      First time used and this is what we used it for.

      We completely gutted the dining room and part of the living room plaster walls and ceiling removed the old insulation and wiring. Installed all new wiring from the electric panel back to the rooms drilling all new holes thru the floor joist and wall studs. My wife came behind with the shop-vac cleaning up the mess as we worked.

    3. I use both the M18 and the older style V18 battery, both are good. run time is 25 minutes to 1 hour, depends on if battery is charge fully...

    4. The vacuum does accept both M18 and V18 batteries. I get 12-15 minutes out of an M18 3 amp hour XC battery pack, never tried my 1.5 or 2 Ah packs in it.

    5. There are too many variables to determine the run time. This tool will accept all 18 volt slide on batteries, red lithium.

    1. This is the vacuum only. See our item #330828 for the recommended battery. This vacuum will work with any of the Milwaukee M18 batteries.

  4. I need a longer hose 12'

    want to purchase one but need to have more hose to reach from floor to unit in ceiling above grid work

    1. The hose is only about 5 feet, good enough for your average job. It's easy enough to lift up or set on a bench if you need more reach. Not sure if Milwaukee sells a longer accessory hose for this. It's a portable small vac, not meant for big jobs.

    2. The extended length on this hose is approximately 5ft. There are no additional hoses available for this vacuum.

  5. How long is the hose?

    1. About 5 feet, maybe a little less when stretched out. It compacts down to a couple feet and sits inside of the unit.

    Will the 18 Volt 2.4 AMp hour battery from my cordless drill work on this unit?

    1. This vacuum can accept any of the Milwaukee M18 batteries.

    1. The manufacturer does not rate the vacuum per horsepower. The vacuum is rated per CFM. The CFM rating on the model number 0880-20 is 45 CFM.

    1. This model would not work with the Milwaukee Packout system. It would be recommended to use item number 102836 for a Milwaukee Vacuum that would be compatible.
