  1. looking for a gift for husband, what does this do?

    He basically works in wood or on his tractor on the weekends as a hobby. The occasional plumbing job do you use the propex expander for what jobs?

    1. The Milwaukee ProPEX will expand tubing and plumbing pipe. The design is ideal for working in tight locations.

    2. This tool is used to expand Wirsbo pex tubing. Its used in the proccess of plumbing water lines. It expands the tubing (with pex ring) so that the fitting can be inserted. If you plan on doing just a small remodel or a fitting or two, this may not be what you are after. But if you do plan on doing multiple jobs (big or small). this tool does a very nice job. It is used in the plumbing field. The water lines through out the house can be run with pex tubing. Pending on age of your home, this may not be the case. investigate further then decide.
