  1. Does this model have a grease port for the head?

    1. The ratchet does not have a dedicated grease port. You can access the internal mechanism to apply a small amount of grease by carefully disassembling the ratchet and applying a light film of grease to the moving parts such as the pawl and ratchet mechanism.

    1. The model number 2557-20 is the tool only. The rechargeable battery model number 48-22-2425 is sold separately. The battery is not built into the tool.

  4. Which Model (tool only)

    There are about 4 models of this 12v ratchet. It appears the torque and RPM ranges are different. Not sure the reason, one model is newer than the other or some other design need?

    1. This Milwaukee M12 ratchet has a brushless motor. While its RPM's are slightly less (200 vs. 250) than the standard M12 ratchet, it has a higher torque rating (55 ft.-lbs. vs. 35 ft.-lbs.). Click the links below to view the other M12 ratchets/kits.
