    Does this one have the 12 volt cigarette lighter type port on the back where the power cord is connected?

    1. Yes it does have a 12volt plug on the back. You could use a automotive style charger to plug into it.

    2. This Milwaukee has a 12 Volt DC Output Jack on the back This jack can be used to charge a cell phone, power a CD player or any other device that uses less than 500 mA of DC electrical current.
      NOTE: Any device that uses more than 500 mA of DC electrical current will trip a self-resetting function.

    1. With a Milwaukee compact battery you can expect a run time of about 1.5 hours on this radio. When you step up to an extended run battery your run time will increase to about 4 hours.

    1. The music would be played through the Auxiliary input 1/8'' stereo jack. The USB port would not accommodate a flash drive for music. It is an output port made for charging small electronic devices.

    1. It can be powered by all Milwaukee tool batteries from 12 volt to 28 volt. This would include the M, V and NiCad batteries. It would not use regular batteries. It can also be plugged into to a standard 120 volt outlet.

    1. The job site radio will not charge your batteries. You may use your already charged M18 batteries to power the radio.
