  2. HOW DOES THE RADIUS SPREAD ADJUSTMENT WORK?

    1. The rate setting is adjusted by rotating the rate cam. The rate cam will lock at each setting. You determine the setting by the material you are spreading. There is a rate setting conversion table listed on page 6 of the manual. This spreader is also equipped with a factory installed deflector shield that is used for applying materials to narrow areas. The shield can be removed when material needs to be spread in larger areas.

    1. It would work fine in spreading dry sand. You would need to adjust the setting for the fine material.
