    1. This solvent does contain mineral spirits which are not recommended for cleaning engine parts. Although mineral spirits are effective for removing carbon deposits, we do not recommend soaking the pistons in this solvent for any period of time.

  7. I HAVE A NEW REDSUN PARTS WASHER - TAG SAYS WATER BASED CLEANER - BUT MY OLD WASHER USED THIS CLEARER---- IS IT OK/SAFE TO USE IN THE NEW ONE? SMALL ENGINE/ LAWN MOWER PARTS ONLY

    1. Mineral based solvents cannot be used in a water-based parts washer. Only water-based solvents can be used.
