  1. Does it require Gas Shielding?

    1. No. The flux core precludes the necessity of other shielding methods.

    2. No. Flux core wire does not require gas shielding, it provides its own shielding.

    3. No Inert Gas required.

    4. Flux cored wire does not need shielding gas. It will leave a little slagging behind, but works well with no gas.

    5. The Flux-Cored Welding Wire does not require shielding gas as the flux-cored wire solidifies more quickly with low spatter.

    1. The wire can be used for multiple passes over the same joint with a maximum thickness of 5/16".
