  2. Do I need to buy a separate chord and switch if it's replacing another motor on a older piece of equipment? If so, what kind?

    1. To determine proper wiring, rotation and voltage connections, refer to the information and diagram on the nameplate, separate connection plate or decal. We recommend wiring be done by a licensed electrician so it will comply with National Electrical Codes and local codes.     1. This is a single phase motor and it is not designed to be used with a speed controller.
