  1. If these are rated for 1500lb ea, would installing a set on a single axle trailer mean the overall weight capacity is 3,000lbs (given the other suspension/axle components are properly spec'd)?

  2. Light weight trailer

    I have a light weight trailer that will never see much more than 750 lbs. I would like to replace the short slipper springs with longer double eye springs for a smoother ride. Will removing the shortest leaf of this spring lower the capacity thus softening the ride or would this degrade the integrity of the springs?

    1. The 3 leaf Spring could be used without the shortest leaf and still function although with less capacity.
