    1. I have used this mixer for concrete as well as mortar and it works great for both. You will have the best results on a level surface, especially with the mortar. It needs just the right angle to move the material around properly inside the drum.

  3. Are these REALLY coming with a 3/4 HP motor?

    According to Kushlan, the newer models have a 3/4 HP motor. Another major chain is still advertising their sale of the 1/2 HP models.

  4. What size extension cord do indeed for the 3/4 hp motor

    I need to use this 75' to 100' from an electrical source, would a 14 ga extension cord be enough or will I need to go to a 12 ga?
    What is the amperage drawofthe unit?

    1. The manufacturer recommends 12 gauge extension cords for distances of 100 feet. The amperage draw for this unit is 7 amps.

  5. Drum Size?

    I see measurements listed. However, the most important thing for me (for my needs) to know is the depth of the drum from the rim to the inside bottom? In other words; if I stuck a yard stick inside the drum, what would it be to the top of the rim? Thanks, Walt
