    1. The auger does not have reverse. You would hand feed the cable back into the drain cleaner.

  5. Can I get this or similar with a smaller diameter cable?

    3/8"? 5/16"? What do you recommend for 1 1/2" pvc sink drain that requires good maneuverability around elbows, substantial length of 50' or more, and strong torque at full extension, as well as being easy to use?

  6. What happens if used in a 1 1/2" drain pvc pipe?

    Why is it not recommended for this size drain pipe? I have a problem 1 1/2" kitchen sink drain that requires periodic attention. I've called in a drain service multiple times. They use a big drum machine. Seems to me their cable was substantial as well. I can't be certain but I'd guess at least half inch.

    1. The larger cutting adapter is too large. It will also be difficult feeding it around corners with 1 1/2''.

    Can I safely use this for 1.5" pipe?

    1. The drain cleaner cannot be used with 1.5" pipe. A drain cleaner with 3/8" or 5/16" cable would work best for that.

  10. Auto feed/retrieval?

    Just confirming this unit will auto feed cable into sewer line and auto retrieve the cable. I am looking for something where I am not wrestling with the cable to get it back into the drum. Home Use only.
