  1. Additional dies available?

    Are other die sets available? Particularly, round/oval die sets to be able to swage stainless steel wire rope sleeves?

    1. I bought Muzata pn MZZ638 swage die for wire rope. It fits the same as all the dies that come with this crimper. it isnt round its six sided but it worked for my 1/8" stainless steel cable ends for exercise equipment.

    1. Yes, this will work on 2/0 which is 0.36" and up to 4/0 which is 0.46". The range for this tool is from 0.14" to 0.48" diameter.

    1. The exterior dimensions of all the dies are 33mm long x 36mm wide x 11.5mm high.

    1. This would not work on 400 MCM cable. It can be used with materials 0.14in.–0.48in. in diameter.

    1. Yes, the 50mm hex die would be used for 1/0 AWG wire.

    1. This is designed for crimping cable, but it could crimp hose fittings. Typically the size and shape of hydraulic hose fittings would require a custom mold.
