The 7’ TG-84 is perfect for larger operations and ideal for use on tractors from 50-60 horse power.   1. Is this too big for my Kubota B6100 14hp tractor

    Will the PTO Driveshaft match up OK? Is there another Model of Rotary Tiller I should be looking at for my Tractor?

    1. I have a John Deere 650 14hp. I bought a King Kutter TG-48-XB. This tiller is all my tractor can handle. I have set the tilling depth to it's highest setting and just make a few more pass on the garden to get to the depth I want. It works great but I do wish I had a few more horses under the hood.

    2. The King Kutter Rotary Tiller would not work with a 14 horsepower tractor. It will work with the minimum horsepower of 20 and a maximum horsepower of 35. We do not carry a tiller for a 14 horsepower tractor.

    1. This King Kutter rotary tiller connects to a standard 540 clockwise rotation PTO shaft with a 1 3/8"-6 spline end. The rotation is viewed from the end of the shaft.

    1. This King Kutter Gear-Driven Rotary Tiller, model TG-48 does have a slip clutch. The King Kutter XB rotary tiller, model TG-48-XB-OK is also equipped with a slip-clutch.

  7. Is the HP requirement Tractor or PTO HP?

    I have a 24 HP diesel tractor, but the PTO HP is only 18. Can it drive this tiller?

    1. The horsepower requirement for tractor implements is taken from the PTO. This tiller requires 20-35 HP at 540 RPM from the PTO.

    My 20 hp Yanmar 1610d has a clockwise rotating PTO. Is this compatible with the TG-48 Tiller? Thanks!

    1. This King Kutter II Gear Driven Rotary Tiller has a PTO shaft that turns counterclockwise.

    1. The tiller will work with tractors 20-35 HP and have category 1 hitch pins of 3/4". This will work with your 20 HP tractor.
