Does the table come assembled?

Some assembly is required. The handle, foot lever, and the cable will need to be attached. Please see page 5 in the manual for that assembly.

Can this safely carry 4x8' sheets of plywood centered on the table?

The platform does not lift higher than the handle, so a 4' x 8' sheet of plywood could not be centered lengthwise on the platform. Using it for this application would be at the user's discretion.

What is the table top made of?
It looks like plastic. is it supported by steel/aluminum underneath? I deal with long and wide loads. I need to make sure that the 1100 pound limit isnt just in the center, but out to the very edges of the tabletop. I can't have even a corner giving way. Also, would I void the warranty if I retrofitted a frame with rollers over this top?

The table top is made of steel with a powder coat finish. The unit has a maximum rated load of 1100 pounds capacity throughout the size of the table passed by the manufacturer. Any modifications to the product void the manufacturers warranty.
