  1. Spec is 5 watts @ 6V, so light draws .83A. 4X AA batteries = 10 A hours. So about 12 hours of light, excluding whatever "pilot" draw sensors may have. What is typical battery life?

    1. With the use of heavy duty batteries, the non stop only (ON mode) run time would be around 4-6 hours and could support a dim light for another 1-2 hours. Run time on auto mode (sensor mode) is immeasurable as the power consumption is nominal. Performance would be greatly enhanced if alkaline batteries are used. External temperatures and humidity can affect performance.

  3. Description says auto off at 30 seconds.  What are the other settings for auto off? Or does it always cut off after 30 seconds?

    1. The light offers 3 settings: off, always on, and auto off after 30 seconds.

  5. Where is the plastic tab the package says to pull from the battery compartment before use?? We do not see any such tab.

    1. The pull tab is in the back of the product, which is where the battery compartment is.
