  1. Do these brackets take a standard 2x12 (1.5x11.5)?

    1. Yes, I bought a standard 12' - 2"X12" cut that half and it worked fine.

      The kit instructions showed the ends need to be cut on a 15 degree angle.

  2. Would these brackets work for a 2000 lb mower?

    I've got a 2000 lb mower and I'd like to know if these brackets would support that much weight?

    1. The brackets are tough and are very heavy. If you dropped a bracket on your foot, it would hurt. Each bracket is rated for 700 pounds which is 1,400 for the set. This is much less than 2,000 pounds.
