Can you get a training shock collar that also works with the fence?
I need to purchase a shock collar but also need to put in the fencing to prevent my dog from jumping the gate. Is there a combo package so that i do not have to purchase two seperate training items.

This pet fencing system includes one training/receiver collar. If your needs require more than one collar, click the link below to view it as a separate item. There is not a kit available with 2 collars included.

The instructions say that this fence is good for dogs 20Lb to 75Lb. My dogs are 19Lb and 15Lb. Will this be a problem?
Do you have other invisible fences for smaller dogs?
1 answer-
ProductExpert42· 14 years ago
The 20lb to 75lb rating is the safe rating for this fencing system. The collar for the dog is not adjustable on this unit. This system may be used on high energy, less timid dogs weighing as light as 12lbs. If your dogs are more timid, the PetSafe containment system (item 3547) may be better suited for your dogs, as the collar is an adjustable unit.

How deep must the wire be buried?
we live in a very wet, rocky terrain. will this product work for us?
1 answer-
ProductExpert12· 16 years ago
We recommend that you bury the wire 1 - 3 inches underground to give it protection from possible damage caused by small rodents or surface traffic. It is not vital to the operation of the system that the wire be buried, but it is highly recommended. You can also bury the wire deeper, (up to 6-8 inches) if you are concerned about damage caused by aeration, etc. The wire can be attached to an existing fence, hedges or other items if it is not going to get damaged. In wooded areas you can even run the wire through PVC or rubber garden hose.
