    1. The serial number will be a 4 character sequence of 3 numbers and a letter. It will be etched or stamped on the metal housing of the tool, possibly just under the rubber grip.

  4. how thick metal does it cut

    I replace a lot of brake chambers on road tractors and trailers and you always have to cut the rod off to length the rod is about 1/2 in thick.Currently using air cutoff tool and it takes about 3 to 5 minutes to cut rod would this be any faster

    1. This air reciprocating saw is designed to cut through plastic, fiberglass, composites, aluminum and sheet metal. Aluminum is a very soft metal and sheet metal is thin. This tool is not designed to cut 1/2 inch thick metal.
