    Does this grinder accept 7/8" open arbor hole discs?

    1. Yes, and the threaded stud is 5/8-11.

    2. This Ingersoll Rand air angle grinder accepts discs with a 5/8", 11 threaded spindle arbor.

  2. how do i change pad

    1 answer

    1. The angle grinder will come with 2 wrenches. You would use one to hold the spindle and the other to unscrew the retaining screw to remove the pad and then place the new one on it and put the retaining screw back on.

  3. There are 2 “CFM” categories in the specs. One says “9 CFM”, the other says “41 CFM at Load”.  Please explain the difference?  Thank you.

    1. The 9 CFM is the amount of air it takes with no load. No load means the disc is not in contact with the work piece. The 41 CFM is when the grinder is at a load. A load refers to when the grinder is in contact with the work piece and is grinding the surface.
