Product Summary

The Hudson NeverPump® Bak-Pak® Sprayer is a convenient, easy way to carry enough fluid to handle larger jobs. Its high-performance, rechargeable battery-powered pump sprays for 10 continuous hours on a single charge. The long spray wand has a curved tip for greater accuracy. Chemical-resistant shoulder straps with adjustable pads make it more comfortable to carry. The large tank opening for easy filling has a built-in filter for keeping dirt and debris out of tank to reduce clogging. Viton® seals and gaskets allow you to spray a wide variety of chemicals.

    5. The manufacturer is aware of the problem. They have solved the problem and say not every sprayer had this problem. If this would happen, they will definitely replace the sprayer for you.

  2. How do you fasten the straps to the bottom of the sprayer?

    1. There is a slot on bottom on each side that they fit into

    2. I agree with anonymous from Eugene, OR. To prevent strap from ever coming off, I drilled a small hole through the clip and the lip and screw in a very small and short sheet metal screw. It works great.

    3. I had a hard time figuring this out too. I just clipped them in under the bottom of the sprayer. Not sure if this is where they go but it has worked fine for 2 weeks now.

    4. The strap clip just hooks into the rim on the bottom lip of the sprayer. They come off pretty easily but once you have the sprayer on your back they don't seem to come unclipped.

    5. The straps should be crossed at the top brackets and them clipped to the bottom corners of the unit.

    I need a sprayer that will spray at least ten feet for poison oak. Also would like it in a five gallon can.

  5. Can you store rondup in ths sprayer all season.

    I had sprayers with roundup stored in it actually eat through the plastic wand.

    1. The battery is sealed inside the unit and not readily accessible. The unit works extremely well with the supplied battery; i.e. you won't need any external battery..

  7. What is the net weight of this unit?

    1. The unit empty weighs about 15 pounds. Four gallons of water weighs a little over 33 pounds for a total of 48 pounds. It's pretty heavy on the shoulders. If you are not sure if you could handle it, you probably can't. You can strap it to a hand cart or a golf cart, riding mower, etc.

  8. How much pressure does it have? Does it lose pressure as the battery gets weaker?

    1. I'm not sure of the psi off-hand, but you can spray 20 four-gallon loads before the battery needs recharging, so I don't think that losing pressure is a concern.

    1. 15-16 pounds empty plus 4 gallons at 8.3 pounds per gallon = about 50 pounds.

    1. No way to adjust spray pressure-just volume of spray.
