  1. pumping up model 13194

    I would like to know how you pump up the pressure in this unit. Is that long horizontal handle used to pump up the pressure? Thanks.

    1. THE HANDLE IS THE WAY YOU BUILD UP PRESSURE IN THE TANK TO ALLOW IT TO SPRAY. I DID FIND THAT THIS UNIT REQUIRED LESS PUMPING THAN SOME OF THE OTHER UNITS I HAVE HAD, WHICH SAVED MY ARM AND SHOULDER AN EXTRA WORKOUT.

    2. yes it is. and it can be positioned on either side of the sprayer.

    3. This Hudson Bak Pak sprayer is pumped manually with the vertical lever located on the side of the unit.

  2. are shoulder straps padded? Piston pump?

    1. The straps are not padded, and the sprayer does have a piston pump.

    2. Straps aren't padded but do have a small rubber piece for the shoulder. I'm a big guy and I use it allot. If the straps become an issue, I recommend going to an autoparts store and buying two of those thing that go over the seat belt.

  3. Where to buy parts for my 14194 Hudson Bak Pak

    The wand on this model got run over. Where can I buy a new extension wand. All I need is the wand, the handle and tips are fine. Also, Do you have other wand options?

    1. I stepped on mine. I went online to Hudson directly. I called them and they are extremely helpful. They emailed me an exploded view of my sprayer to ensure I was ordering the right parts. They were quick and cheap.
