  1. Are there terminals on the back of the connector ?

    Do you need another part to connect the original vehicle wiring ?

    1. No. Each pin in the connector has a connector and if you are not sure of proper color coding, you can find it easily on the internet with an exploded view.

  2. How does it come apart for wiring?

    1. Loosen the set screw on the connecter and remove the socket from the housing to access the socket terminals.

  3. Is the “tab” on the cap supposed to go over the tab on the plug to help hold the plug in?  Our plug doesn’t go in far enough for them to “catch”.  Thanks!

    1. The tab on the cap is supposed to go over the tab on the plug to help hold. It just has a spring in it to help keep it there, it doesn't need to catch.
