    1. The concrete base dimensions would be 54 inches long x 31 inches wide and 3 inches thick. It is best to check with your local codes. The entry point dimensions for the gas and electrical entry would be listed in the product manual that can be found on our website.

  2. Can the unit be mounted on an elevated platform or must it be on the ground?

    1. The generator requires the use of the mounting pad shipped with the generator. It is recommended to be installed on a cement slab no closer than 18" away from structure.

  3. What size gas line would be needed to run this 14kW generator?

    1. The gas pipe size will depend on length of run from the source and how many elbows and T’s there are. Gas line size on the generator can range in size from ¾” to 1 ¼” or greater, depending on how far from the gas source. Units running on natural gas need 3.5” to 7” of water column of pressure and units running on propane will need 10” to 12” of water column of pressure. It is recommended that you contact a gas provider or licensed installer per your application.

    1. The battery charger is integrated into the control panel module. It operates as a smart charger, verifying output charging levels are safe and continuously optimized to promote maximum battery life. A kit is provided to install a fuse in transfer switch for T1 battery charger connection. Do not use an external battery charger.

  7. WHAT SIZE GAS LINE IS REQUIRED? WHAT ARE THE DIMENSIONS OF THE TRANSFER SWITCH?

    1. The fuel pipe must be sized per full load. Required fuel pressure to the generator fuel inlet at all load ranges 3.5-7.0 in water column for natural gas and 10-12 in water column for LP gas. The overall dimensions on the transfer switch is 13.5" W x 30.1" H x 6.91" D.

    1. The generator would be rated at 47,768 BTU or 3,412 BTU's per KW per hour. It would use 195 cu ft per hour at 1/2 load and 256 cu ft per hour at full load on natural gas.

  10. If I have Liquid propane, does the generator have to remain a certain distance from my house?

    1. Installation should be done in accordance to local codes and regulations. This generator must be greater than 10ft. away from any air intake openings. Shrubs and tall grasses should not be within 3 ft. of the intake and discharge louvers on the sides of the generator enclosure either.
