    Can a small RV be plugged into this to operate one AC and keep the battery charged?

    1. This generator can handle up to 3250 running watts. The AC unit and the battery maintainer/charger must be running at less than 3250 watts.

  3. Can this be wired with a transfer switch?

    Can you combine output from the two circuits into a 4-wire outlet to be used with a transfer switch?

    1. To safely power hard wired circuits, it is recommend to use a manual transfer switch. The item #100022 transfer switch could be used with this generator. It would not be recommended to combine the two circuits or make any modifications to the generator other than what it is intended for.

    1. The THD is greater than 6%. This is a brushed generator, with aluminum windings. The Generac brand engine is made in China.

    1. The difference between both Generac generator models 5789 and 5724 is that model number 5789 is carburetor compliant and can be sold into California.

    1. There is not a uniform standard for decibel level ratings and Generac does not offer a rating on any of their generators DB levels.
