    I'd like to upgrade to new 18V Li-Ion batteries ONLY IF THEY WILL work on my older 18V XRP tools.....

    What are the differences between models DCF826 and DC827? They are listed identically. ARe batteries the same, Chargers etc.?

    1. The difference between the DEWALT models #DCF826KL and #DC827KL is simply the batteries that are included. The model #DC827KL includes longer lasting XRP batteries. The model #DC826KL will include compact lighter Li-Ion batteries.
