  1. is this for metal detection in wood planks or for metal detection on people?

    1. The metal detector is designed to be used for body scanning for detection of metal objects. You will hold the scanner with in an inch of the area you are wanting to scan. Large environmental metal objects in a wall or floor is not detectable beyond a range of several inches. It will not detect very small metal objects beyond a range of one inch.

  2. How far away can it detect metal items?

    1. The metal detector must be in motion. Sweep the detector over the subject with a smooth even motion approximately one inch away from the body.

  3. Could this find nails in a gravel driveway?

    1. The metal detector will detect all types of metals. Small items will not be detected beyond one inch from the detector.
