    The cord looks to be on the wrong side for my application.

    1. This heater has a thermal safety switch. The heater is provided with an automatic-resetting thermal safety switch that will disconnect power to the heating element should the heater be placed into
      an abnormal condition (such as a blockage) to prevent a fire. When the heater cools, the safety switch will reset allowing the heater to return to normal operation.

    1. The separate item is a picture of the controls on the side of the unit, however the picture is wrong. The heater does not have the LCD screen, but does have the knob on the side.

    1. The Fahrenheat Portable Electric Hydronic Heater item #173035 does not have a digital thermostat but does have a automatic knob control. The temperature ranges from 45 degrees to 90 degree Fahrenheit.
