Product Summary

The compact Extech HT30 is a Heat Stress WBGT (Wet Bulb Globe Temperature) Monitor which measures the effects of temperature, humidity, and direct or radiant sunlight. The heat stress index is a measurement of how hot it feels taking into account of humidity, temperature, air movement and radiant heat. This heat stress meter measures WBGT from 32 to 122°F (0 to 50°C), Black Globe Temperature (TG) from 32 to 176°F (0 to 80°C) which monitors the effects of direct solar radiation on an exposed surface, Air Temperature (TA) from 32 to 122ºF (0 to 50ºC) and Relative Humidity to 100%. The meter hosts Fahrenheit and Celsius selectable modes, In/Out function display, a built-in RS-232 interface with optional Windows software and autopower off with override functions. Use this heat stress meter in athletic training environments, manufacturing locations or anywhere where outdoor monitoring is of benefit. This meter comes with two AAA batteries for operation.
