Product Summary

The dryer timer is a key component that ensures that your dryer works properly. It controls many functions of the dryer including when your dryer will turn off, how long the heater will stay on, and the cool-down time. Once the clothes are dry, the heater function shuts off, but the drum continues to run through a cool-down cycle to help prevent wrinkling of clothes. A quality manufactured timer is key to the proper functioning of your dryer. That is why this ERP® Replacement Dryer Timer is specifically designed to replace Whirlpool® part number W10745655. No electrical modifications or adapters are required. Be sure this is the correct part for your dryer. While parts may look similar, their functioning can be different. The model number can be found in 1 of several places on your dryer. It may be on the upper left side of the back or in the inside of the door, either on the frame or the door itself. On some gas models it is located behind the lower front access panel.
