  1. How much does it weigh? How long is it from the edge of the hitch that goes into the 2" receiver on my car to the rear facing edge of the carrier that has the refectors on it. I'm wondering if I can lift it up & put in the back of my SUV.

    1. The cargo carrier weighs 28 pounds. The distance from the center of the hitch pin to the outside of the carrier is 29.8125 inches.
