  1. Is this unit safe to run overnight?

    1. Should be safe. I have my heaters set on 70 and leave them turned on so they can maintain constant temp.I like them because they have no flame and hopefully cut down on massive winter heating bill.

    2. Yes I would say so, I have run it hundreds of times overnight in my sons room with no worries and no problems. GFCI outlets in your home along with the grounded plug connection and auto shutoff function are more than assuring to me as to the products safety

    3. Check to be sure your wall outlet is in good order and holds plug tightly, otherwise one of the plug terminals could get excessivly hot. Same with any higher power device you might connect and leave unattended.

  4. Noise?

    Does the heater make any noise? I bought one a few years ago (can't remember if this or another brand) but gave it away because it made a slight hum while operating. Currently using an oil heater which is absolutely silent.

    1. This is a fan forced heater and therefore makes noise as any fan would. It does not make too much noise for me and my family but folks have different tolerances to noise.

    1. No-you have to manually turn the heat back on.

  6. What is the lowest temperature setting?

    I am wanting to build a small room / closet in my shop to store paint and other things that will ruin if they freeze. I'm looking for a heater that I can set near 40 to 45 degrees just to keep the room above freezing. Doesn't need to be very warm, it just has to stay above freezing.

    1. The digital thermostat can be set as low as 50 degrees Fahrenheit.

  9. Would it be fire risk to mount this heater in a kitchen island cabinet? I have a 15x20 inch opening (open front & back) that I'd like to put this in.
