    1. You can connect your iPhone 5 to the Dewalt DCR012 worksite radio to play or charge but you will need to supply your own cable to do so.

  5. Can I charge my iphone using just an 18V battery pluggrd in?

    I would like to have the ability to use either USB or 12v cigarette lighter type receptcle to charge my Iphone and possibly other electronic devices using the battery only, rather then having it pluggeg into the wall.

    1. No, this radio/charger does not have a USB port to charge an I-phone. It only has the 3 sockets on the side and would need to be plugged into the wall.

    Does this have a power inverter in it or do the outlets on the left side only work when it is plugged in? Will this charge Lithium-Ion XRP batteries?

    1. The DeWalt Worksite Charger/Radio does not include an inverter. The unit does need to be plugged in to operate. The DC012 will charge most DEWALT 7.2 to 18.0 volt NiCd, NiMH, Li-Ion batteries except for Univolt batteries.

    Will this radio will run off of and charge DEWALT Lithium-Ion XRP batteries? Also, does this have a power inverter in it or do the electrical outlets on the side only work when it is plugged in?

    1. Yes, the Dewalt Charger/Radio will work with Lithium-Ion XRP batteries.

    1. There are 2 batteries available for the Dewalt Heavy-Duty Worksite Charger/Radio. The DC9096 (also available in a 2 pack) and the DC9180.

  9. Can this unit play and charge my 6G iPod nano?

    1. This DEWALT Heavy-Duty worksite charger/radio will play your 6G iPod nano. You will need to supply the audio cable to connect your iPod to the auxiliary port. You could also charge your iPod by connecting a 120v charger to the outlets located on the side of this radio.
