These DEWALT 2 Watt Heavy-Duty Walkie-Talkie radios are rated IP67 standard as dustproof and waterproof. They can withstand water immersion in 3 1/4ft. deep water for 30 minutes. They can also withstand a 6 1/2ft. drop. Equipped with 22 preset channels and voice-activated transmission, this radio can cover up to 300,000 sq. feet/ 25 floors, depending on conditions. These walkie talkies are ideal for the toughest jobsite conditions. The 360° swivel holster allows sideways rotation for multiple positions. VOX voice-activated transmission frees hands for other tasks. 5 VOX sensitivity levels allow user to select the point at which the radio will detect their voice. UHF/FM Ultra provides clear long distance reception. 121 privacy codes, 38 Continuous Tone Coded Squelch System (CTCSS) codes, and 83 DCS Digitally Coded Squelch (DCS) codes provide a total of 121 privacy codes. 2,662 privacy combinations are possible when the 22 channels are combined with the 121 privacy codes. Viber Alert enhanced vibrating feedback notifies you of incoming transmissions. Roger Beep Tone Confirmation tone indicates the completion of the user's transmission, and signals others it is clear to talk. Key Lock when activated, provides key pad security, eliminating accidental channel changes. Power Saver, a unique circuit, extends the life of your batteries. If there are no transmissions within 10 seconds, the unit will automatically switch to battery save mode. Auto Squelch automatically shuts off weak transmissions or unwanted noise due to terrain or range constraints. Easy-to-view LCD display provides the radio's status at a glance. Speaker/microphone/jack allows use of wall charger, or earphone speaker/microphones (not included) for "hands-free" operation. Volume knob allows user to adjust any volume level easily and promptly. The charging dock reversible charging mechanism is designed for convenient drop-in charging. The anti-slip design allows more assured handling and helps prevent dropping of the radio. Ultra-long runtime allows use up to 18 hours (90% standby/5% talk). No license or service fees are required to own or operate these walkie talkies.
