    Does this unit come with at least (1) battery and a charger please?

    1. No, it is tool only but does have a plug.

    2. No, this is the baretool package. Tool only. You will need to separately buy battery and charger if you don't already own a 20v platform (or older 18v batteries).

    3. This wet-dry vacuum comes with the vacuum, a 5 foot hose, one crevice tool attachment, one wide nozzle tool attachment and one filter. It does not include the battery or charger. It can be powered by a DeWalt 18 volt or 20 volt battery pack. I will include the link to our 18 volt battery and charger below for reference.

  2. Wet vacuum application?

    Have never owned a wet/dry vacuum before. When you use it for removing water or other small wet situations do you remove the filter while using it for this type application and then replace it after you are finished? It would seem that in some wet applications you would not want any of the debris to be caught in the filter and have a real mess to clean it.

    1. This wet/dry vacuum has a HEPA rated wet/dry filter which traps dust with 99.97% efficiency at 1 micron. The filter is designed to work in wet or dry applications and is recommended to use even in wet applications.
