  7. How do you open the ladder legs haven't used it in a while

    1. To open the legs of the Cosco Articulating Multi-Position Ladder unlock the hinges, locate the large spring locking levers on the ladder. These levers secure the ladder in its folded position. Push or pull the levers to unlock the hinges. Next, extend the legs, once the hinges are unlocked, carefully extend the legs of the ladder to the desired position. The ladder can be configured into various positions, such as a step ladder, extension ladder, scaffold, stairway ladder, or wall ladder. Lastly, lock the hinges, after positioning the legs, ensure the hinges are securely locked by engaging the spring locking levers. This will stabilize the ladder and prevent it from collapsing during use.
