Product Summary

This Champion Power Equipment Dual Fuel Generator runs on gasoline or propane to deliver up to 2500 Watts of ultra-quiet power — just 53dB. The fuel selector dial allows for easily switching between fuels. This ultralight model makes portability and provides plenty of clean electricity for safely operating sensitive electronics. The parallel-ready design allows connection to another Champion 2500 Watt inverter to double your power output (requires parallel kit, not included). Plus, it features an Economy Mode to monitor the electrical load to reduce engine speed, noise and fuel consumption.

  1. Is there a different in wattage then running on propane vs gas?

    1. The running wattage on gasoline is 1,850 and on propane it will be 1,665 watts. The starting wattage on both with be 2,500.

  3. Could I hook this up to a large whole house propane tank that I have sitting in my backyard: Will I be able to run a line to this generator from that tank, plus another line to my whole house automatic generator? Thank you.

    1. This generator and the included regulator is intended to be used with a 20-lb. propane cylinder. It is not recommended for use with a larger tank size.

  4. Do you have a hose that will work with this generator from a source that is already low pressure? In other words without a regulator?

    1. At this time, Northern Tool does not offer an alternative propane hose without a regulator for this generator.

    1. This can only connect to other Champion 2500 inverter generators with parallel connections.

    1. This generator will run for up to 34 hours at 1/4 load on a 20lb. propane tank.
