    1. Plastic, but very sturdy. No worries.

    4. Plastic. The hinges are blow molded as part of the (polyethylene?) case, and there is a plastic (Delrin?) hinge pin.

      No rust. Looks pretty durable. They are actual hinges, not just a plastic flap that bends.

    3. The bar cover (scabbard) is removable, and the case comes with a 'plug' to fill this space/hole if you want to use it for something else.

      I frequently store my saws with the guide bar removed and in the case, so that they take up less space.

  4. I bought this for my husband, but it didn't,t come with any diagram on what fits in the slots inside the case. Is there any pictures to look at ?

    1. Not that I found. This case is a kind of universal size. Some saw bodies are larger than others. I think you will find room for tools, an extra plug, a file, fuel flask and some chain oil.

    2. Being a universal case, some of the slots may fit your files, tensioner, bar oil etc. Because every saw and it's accessories are different, these may not fit directly into one of the slots.

    1. Inside the box, there is a strap that can feed through the saw handle of the saw to stabilize it in the case. There are no designated strap down points on the outside of the case.

    1. It is best to confirm it fits all measurements. The inside dimensions of the box are 18.5" side to side, 9.5" front to back, 11.08" top to bottom and the scabbard accepts up to 24" bars.
