  1. Can I use a Cordless Drill instead of the handle?

    I have a bad shoulder and it may be hard for me turn the removable crank.

    1. I don"t think so, the lavage you gain by the long handle makes it possible to turn. Even if you had a drill strong enough to turn it. You would need a long support handle to keep drill from turning out of your hands. Not to mention the challenge of welding an adapter to the light weight metal pole.

    2. No a drill will not work it comes with a long handle crank

    3. I doubt it. The handle on here is probably 18"+ long which provides lots of leverage. You would never be able to hold on to the drill for a load equating to the leverage... Plus, I cant imagine a drill motor handling the torque needed.

    4. I doubt it; a heavy load will require a lot of torque to move the load out of a truck bed & the long handle provided is necessary. That said, the handle is long & should be fairly easy to turn. Even a drill would require having a very firm grip to hols on - even if it was a very high torque (corded) drill.

    5. It is not recommended to use a cordless drill instead of the handle with this product.

    1. You can remove it by undoing two straps.

    4. It is totally removable. Just place it on you tail gate when you want to use it then remove when the job is finished and put away in you garage or shed.

  3. Would this work with smaller chucks of broken up concrete?

    1. Yes, as long as you don't exceed the weight limit. I used it to unload fragments of a broken sidewalk with no problem.

    3. It states it will withstand 2000#s of dirt and stone so I would think it would help slide concrete chunks out, but sharp edges and over weight may tear the mat. Use care and caution.

    1. yes but best if you use a sheet of plastic under it if you bedliner is rough, just to let it slide easier.

  5. Will this work on a 2008 Chevy Avalanche

    There is a plastic cladding spoiler on the top of the tailgate

    1. should, its a pretty universal system to fit any tailgate

    2. My SuperDuty has something similar. As long as the plastic is nearly flush to the contour of the tailgate, the rubber padding and custom fit bracketing will work.

  6. I have a Dodge Dakota. Bed has 44" between the wheel wells. Will this work or will the sheet fold and bind on the roller?

    1. I have a small 2018 Nissan crew cab so my box is only had to trim a little 5" I put in a plywood bed over my tale gate open and added plywood sides gives me 7 feet works easier with plywood faster cleanup too not a bunch of rock on bumper

    2. I have a Chevy Colorado (small size PU). I had to cut the sheet to size. (Easy to do with a simple pair of sharp scissors.)

  8. Will this work on a 4X8 utility trailer

    Will this work on a utility trailer? It appears it needs to attach to a tail gate and my trailer does not have any sort of tail gate.

    1. It needs a tailgate to anchor the unloader.

    2. This is designed for ½ ton, compact and step-side pickup truck beds. The manufacturer does not recommend this being used in any other application for safety reasons.
