Rugged steel construction for durability. Metal nozzle and shutoff ball valve. 72in. fuel hose for easy access for refueling.   1. Will inside of tank rust if left empty for long period of time. I plan to fill with gas only when needed for my generator,

    2. Yes, empty steel tanks will rust. especially with our new gas. It is best to treat the gas as you fill the tank with a stabilizer. It will last for up to a year. Use it in the yard equipment in the spring and re-fill the tank keeping it full of treated gas.

    3. It will rust if left empty. The Manufacture recommends that you fill it with gas and then add a fuel stabilizer for storage. See recommendation below.

    3. The fuel station is designed for diesel and gasoline. It can not be used for propane fuel.

  3. Do you sell the nozzle seperately, and can the larger tanks be stored inside a garage?

    1. The dispenser handle comes with the tank and yes I store mine in my two car garage on top of a very sturdy refuse container about three plus feet tall.

    2. The nozzle can be purchased directly through Blitz. The tank can be stored in your garage and the fuel should be treated if it will be stored for a longer period of time.

  4. Can a filter be used on this station? What type?

    1. I wouldn't recommend it. I own this unit and plan to buy two more. This unit operates on gravity flow. If you put a filter on there you will likely barely get a trickle. It will work, but it'll take all day.

    2. Because this fuel station operates by gravity feed, any filtering device would impede the flow of fuel and not allow it work properly. We do not recommend using a filter with this unit. Fuel should be filtered before it reaches this tank.

  5. Can I put kerosene in this?

    2. The fuel station can be used for kerosene however the fuel station will need to be labeled with a kerosene label on the unit. Also, the tank would need to be grounded and bolted to something secure.

    1. This Blitz Professional Fuel Station can be used for diesel fuel, and the hose is designed for all types of fuel as well.

  8. Can this be used for long term storage?

    Since it has a vented cap, it probably wouldn't be the best tank for long term storage. Is there a non-vented cap available for it?

    1. The fuel station is not to be used for long term storage. A non-vented cap is not available due to EPA regulations.
