Raising The Standard For Quality And Convenience
High Capacity, Higher Heights
Get the power of a pro with this low-profile jack. This powerhouse can safely lift up to 3 1/2 tons, making it ideal for cars, trucks, vans or SUVs. Quickly and easily raise your load from the 3 1/2in. minimum height to a 21 3/8in. maximum lift height.
Fast Up Quick Rise System
It starts with the rapid action of dual pump pistons that quickly bring the two-stage jack up to maximum height. Each piston has a special dust shield to prevent hydraulic contamination and keep the pump operating smoothly. The long two-piece handle delivers the leverage you need, then breaks down for easy storage.
Built For Strength And Safety
If you're looking for toughness, look no further than the thick side plates and reinforced lift arm on the XL35. The exceptional construction provides added strength, chassis torsion control and durability. The jack also features bypass and overload valves to prevent over-extension of the hydraulic ram, safely keeping you from using the jack beyond its rated capacity. This jack complies with all 2009 ASME PALD Standards.
Portability On A Roll
When you want to get a jack positioned under a vehicle, maneuverability counts. The Quick Rise jack comes up huge in maneuverability, utilizing ball bearing mounted rear swivel caster wheels and wide-track front wheels for superior stability and smooth rolling performance. It's easy to position this jack right where you want it.
Lift with Confidence
The Arcan Advantage
The Arcan XL35 Quick Rise Professional Service Jack is built to last and perform. But to give you extra peace of mind, Arcan stands behind this product with a 1-year limited warranty.

How does it lower?
is it like a u-joint and you turn the whole handle without taking it off?

That is exaxtly how it is a universal, the lowering is smooth

Yessir! Just turn the handle counter or clockwise to open and close the vavle respectively.

Simply turn the handle counterclockwise to lower. The handle fits almost like a socket which is connected to a universal joint, so you can turn the handle no matter the position.

It is a u-joint connection between the handle and the release valve. You turn the handle counter clock-wise to lower the jack. It provides good control.

It lowers like many other floor jacks. You twist the handle counter clockwise to lower.

Mudpuppy2· 16 years ago
YES!!! A u-joint with a square shaft is located in the bottom of the jack's receiver that the handle slips into and mates with the square shaft. The handle has a collar, on the end that mates with the shaft, that also has a grove on it's outside that allows for a short threaded bolt. that is in the jack's receiver. to protrude into the handle's grove. The grove is deeper than the bolt protrudes, thus allowing the handle to turn and operate the u-joint connected to the release valve. This allows for the jack ro be pulled around by it's handle while operating the valve with just a twist of the handle. Works better than any I've tried.

MemphisJoe· 16 years ago
Yes, the valve opens with a turn of the handle and the jack will begin to lower. The more you turn the quicker it will fall, so you have to be careful when lowering, but that's like any jack like this. This makes it convenient to lower the car while standing clear.

If I jack the rear end of my truck under the differential, can I then move the truck around using this jack?
-
Tech725· 12 years ago
Should be capable as it is very heavy construction - PS you should not jack a veichle up by the center of the differential as the design of the differential is for the weight to be supported in the spring area. Some differentials are made of aluminum and bend easily.
Helpful?
-
broward· 13 years ago
Not really and if so then not very easily and I wouldn't recommend it. The jack probably would tip and the torque applied to it could bend or damage the mechanism. The wheels on the jack are there to allow the jack to move under the lift point as the angle changes under the lift arm. They make roller plates that you place under each tire that will allow you to move a car around in a garage or on any smooth flat surface. With the tire plates you could spin it in circles if you wanted.
Helpful?
-
jesse1974· 14 years ago
i dont think the saddle is deep enought to hold the differential.

-
LiftedTitan· 14 years ago
I would not recommend doing that! Very dangerous. Put the truck on wheel dollies if you need to move it. Never use the jack.
Helpful?
-
Crudgy· 14 years ago
it will move with a load on it. however is not really intended to roll any distance as balance is the issue. Jack seems very stable. Like the fast jack option as it gives good control of the lift.
