  3. I need a tool to spread metal grating apart. I'm looking at use the ram toe and plunger toe to do the job but I can't find where it says anything about the between the two when it's fully collapsed. Does anyone know what this dimension is?

  6. Is there a 10 ton Chain Pull Plate available? Will the 20 ton Chain Pull Plate work with the 10 ton kit?

    The Operating Instructions & Parts Manual shows a Chain Pull Plate in the Basic Setup section.

    1. There is not a chain pull plate available for the 10 ton ram kit. The 20 ton will not work on the 10 ton kit. The chain plate threads onto the ram. Item number 156821 is a pull ram that is sold separately.

  8. Can you tell me the min/max range of the ram and spreader in this kit?

    1. The maximum capacity for the ram is 10 ton the maximum for the pump is 10,000 PSI (pressure per square inch). The closed height of the ram is 13 5/8 inch the extended height is 19 3/4 inch with an effective area of 2.411 inches. The minimum PSI required for this unit is 110.
