Iridium spark plugs should not be cleaned with abrasives. The firing tip should be carefully wiped down with a rag then sprayed with a quick-dry cleaner. After about 10 minutes, a wire brush can be used to remove the deposits. Blow off the plug with a compressor and re-gap.
