Wheel Chocks
Wheel chocks, wheel immobilizers and chock blocks all refer to wedges made out of extremely sturdy material that are placed against your vehicle's wheels to prevent accidental movement or rolling. They're typically made of rubber, plastic or aluminum. If you park your trailer on an incline, even with the parking brake engaged, there is still a risk of rolling, causing damage or injury. Wheel chocks are essential for additional safety and should always be used with the parking brakes engaged. You don't need airplane-grade chocks but you should use something more suited to the job than a big rock to hold your car, trailer or RV in place.
What to look for in Wheel Chocks:
That they are made of reinforced rubber for grip on any surface. They should be tear, abrasion, and ozone weathering resistant rubber.
They should be UV, oil, salt and acid resistant for use in situations with corrosive chemicals.
They should have a wide base for increased stability. They should have
eyebolts for easy carrying or to connect two chocks
