Tile Saws
Custom tile jobs require plenty of cuts and a wet tile saw keeps the work site clean and free from powdery debris. For small bathrooms where space is at a premium, a handheld wet/dry combination saw lets you choose exactly how to handle each cut. A heavy duty Husqvarna table tile saw offers the fastest cutting for large installations that call for thousands of individual cuts. Complete tile installation more efficiently and precisely with the use of a professional-grade tile saw. Northern Tool + Equipment offers tile saws for both DIY and heavy-duty applications. Tile saws feature a circular diamond-tipped blade that cuts tile by grinding through the material. These saws are efficient for a variety of materials from ceramic to stone. Two types of tile saws are available at Northern Tool: tabletop wet tile saws and overhead tile saws. The Ironton 7-inch Wet Tile Saw makes kitchen and bath tile projects a breeze. The portable wet tabletop unit can be operated on any flat surface and assist in cutting ceramic and stone tile for walls and floors. It features a flip-up miter guide which allows for decorative 45° bevel cuts. Its quick-release fence also ensures the operator gets consistent repeatable cuts for the most accurate and visually pleasing tile install. As a wet tile saw, the Ironton 7-inch model includes a recirculating water system that lubricates and cools the blade. It also reduces the spread of fine dust particles that are harmful if inhaled. Although this feature reduces the risk associated with airborne dust, wearing appropriate PPE while operating the tool is still highly recommended.
For large projects and materials, consider Husqvarna's MS 360 Masonry Saws. These highly productive models fall within the overhead tile saw category. The material remains stationary on the table while the 14-inch circular blade is used from above. The tile saw blade is mounted within an overhead beam that slides on a roller-bearing carriage. This placement gives the operator more control of the cut. Husqvarna's masonry saws reliably cut a depth of 5 inches into brick, pavers, stone, and concrete blocks. The saw also rotates to accommodate angled cuts of 22.5° and 45°. These tile saws utilize a jet stream water system for blade lubrication and dust suppression. A splash guard is included to contain water spray and minimize mess for faster cleanup. Each Husqvarna tile saw in this collection can be moved by two individuals using the telescoping handles.
