All you need are two measurements to find the correct drop or rise for your application. First, measure the distance from the ground to the top of your receiver hitch. Next, measure from the ground to the bottom of your trailer’s coupler. If your hitch height is greater than your trailer’s coupler, subtract the difference to get the drop dimension. If your hitch height is lower than your trailer’s coupler, the difference will be the rise height needed.
