When selecting a hook and pick set, consider these few things. The material that the hook and pick sets are made of. It could be stainless steel, carbon steel, or plastic. You should look for a material that is tough, durable and that resists rust. How many pieces are included in the set. Look for a set that has enough of a variety of hooks and picks: shapes, sharpness and sizes should be an assortment to handle many tasks. What material is the handle made of.
