Black magnetic tool holder. 24in.W x 1 1/8in.D x 3/4in.H; overall height including the mounting tabs is 1 5/8in. Tabs are 1in. long with 1/4in. hole. Black painted surface with yellow stripe. Safe Tool Storage I needed a way to store my turning chisels to avoid damage. The magnetic strip was the solution. I now have my 35 chisels stored safely and for ready access. No more damage to my chisels and I can find them easily. Just what I needed, October 15, 2012

Bliss These are working great. I put three up, just to the right of my workbench. The stud placement wasn't ideal for where I was trying to fit them, so I used drywall anchors and it's fine. They come in painted semi-gloss black, with a little yellow plastic tape stripe in the groove. I peeled off the yellow stripe for an all-black look. If you buy more than one, be careful as you handle them. When two or more are brought near each other, they can clack together and pinch your fingers! Here are some tips to maximize capacity: place your tools edge-on so more will fit. The magnet is plenty strong enough to hold them, even with reduced contact area. So my wrenches, pliers, wire-cutters, nippers, etc. are edge-on. Hammers can be hung on the top lip, again edge-on, and the magnetism will hold them steady. Screwdrivers can be placed alternating, handle-up, handle-down, and so on. Small items like allen wrenches or nail set punches can be set standing up on the top edge; since these bars stand out from the wall almost an inch, there's a bit of a shelf there where things can fit behind the hammers, wrenches, drivers, etc. Again, the magnetism is strong enough to hold them steady in place. Great tool to organize wrenches These work great for combination wrenches. I like the fact that I have certain wrenches that I seem to use all the time, and this holds them great. It eliminates alot of wasted trips back and forth to the tool box and I like it better than the plastic type wrench organizers because with those it seems as though I always have additional tools fall off when I'm grabbing what I need. But not with these. This has the ability to hold many different types of tools, screwdrivers, wrenches, etc... Also makes cleanup a snap. November 3, 2009

magnetic tool bar This product does all it claimed to do, way better than I expected. I use it for holding hammers overhead. It holds several hammers weighing over 2lbs. ea. and tools as well. It works so good I just ordered another for my workbench. January 16, 2008

Always in reach with magnetic tool bar After many years of opening drawers to access my tools and opening drawers to put them away I realized that, all to often, it was the same basic tools needed to acomplish a task and so, I decided to try a magnetic tool bar above my work bench to simplify retrieving and stowing those common tools so often needed and it sure has made me wonder why it took me this long to do so. They are always in reach and so easy to put back, of course it also eliminates a lot of wear and tear on the expensive rollaway. Now instead of slowly pulling out more and more tools from the "box" until the bench is covered with them, I reach up, grab what I need, then reach up and stick it back, no more clutter, it eliminates a lot of those, "stopping to put excess tools away" routines I tried two other "less expensive" tool bars before purchasing the MASTER MAGNETICS TOOL BAR and highly reccomend this one due to it's sturdiness, holding power and permanent magnets, claimed to never weaken. 4 of them seem to hold enough to eliminate about 90% of my trips to the drawers and, I believe, add a look of professionalism to the bench, afterall a true professional is efficient at thier trade and this means of holding your tools within reach is obviously efficient. I'm going to mount a couple on the inside of my service trucks compartment doors and have little doubt that they will earn their keep there also. The slight magnetism transfered to the tools was a concern for a while, but I find most of the time it is helpful and on the occassions it isn't, a quick swipe through an inexpensive demagnetizer eliminates it.
